About My Father's Business

- Come, Hear, Do

Not distracted, not delayed, not moved by what does not align to God's divine plan for our lives. Moving with urgency to fulfill God's will, purposes, and mission above any societal, cultural, earthly or biological timelines and constraints. Keeping the main thing, the main thing and embracing joy along the journey. This is not your typical singles ministry and we are not your typical singles. We are rooted in Christ in pursuit of peace, partnership, and purpose.

Mission Statement
"The 'About My Father's Business' ministry exists to empower adults, specifically unmarried, divorced or widowed, to become grounded disciples by coming to Jesus, hearing His Word, and actively practicing it in this particular phase of life. We are dedicated to building unshakeable lives on the firm foundation of Christ, focusing our time, talents, and energy on advancing the Kingdom of God over personal ambition."

Vision Statement
"To see a community of single adults who are fully surrendered, unshakeable in faith, and passionately engaged in our Father’s business—living out their divine purpose with joy, diligence, and integrity, while building a lasting legacy that glorifies God."

Core Pillars of the Ministry (Based on Luke 6:47-49)
• "Come to Me" (Relationship): Fostering intimacy with Christ first and above all else.
• "Hear My Words" (Study): Immersing ourselves in Scripture to know the Father's will.
• "Do" (Action): Putting faith into practice through service, stewardship, and obedient living.
• "Solid Foundation" (Wholeness): Building a life that withstands storms because it is secure in Christ, not on marital status.

Scripture References:
Luke 6:46-49 (NIV)
46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say? 47 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. 48 They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49 But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans
