Calvert County Baptist Church family, we are excited to announce a special Black History presentation titled “The Evolution of Gospel Music,” happening Saturday, February 22, at 3:00 PM.
 

This powerful experience will take us on a historical journey through gospel music—from the songs of the enslaved to today’s contemporary gospel—through drama, dance, live singing, narration, and stage props.  Our drama team will bring the story to life, not just by reading, but by acting out key moments in gospel history.
 

We are inviting members of the congregation to participate, whether through singing, acting, dancing, or supporting the production. If you have a heart for worship, creativity, or storytelling, this is for you.
