"hope baskets for seniors"

We invite you to join us in making Hope Baskets for senior (male & female) residents at the Solomons Island Nursing Center. We pray that these baskets, and our visit, will bring them hope, joy and peace as we approach the season in which we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We know that it can be lonely for many of our seniors. They often feel isolated, lonely and forgotten. Our prayer is that we will be used in such a way that the God of hope will fill them with all joy and peace as they trust in him, so that they may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. – Romans 15:13. We pray that you will join us in making this happen.

Here are multiple ways to join in:

Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.- Psalm 71:18

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ – Matthew 25:37-40
