It brings us immense joy to extend an invitation to the 2023 CCBC Homecoming Experience/Jesus, Jeans, and Jerseys. We eagerly await your presence at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 8th, at Drum Point Club, 465 Overlook Drive, Lusby, MD.

You might recall our original Homecoming event was initially scheduled for September 24th. Due to the unpredictability of nature, we had to reschedule because of the tropical storm. With God's grace and a twist of fate, we've combined it with the Jesus, Jeans, and Jerseys event planned for October 8th. This brings us a delightful blend of two beautiful events, which promises double the fun, double the food, and double the fellowship!

Your preparations won't go in vain. Kindly bring everything you had planned for the Homecoming Experience, and do not forget your jeans and jerseys. For our early birds, you can start setting up your tents, tables, and chairs as early as 9:00 a.m. And to sweeten your morning, we'll have some coffee and donuts ready for you.

Imagine a day filled with warm fellowship, lively fun, and engaging football action on the screens. We wholeheartedly encourage you to invite your friends, relatives, acquaintances, neighbors, colleagues, and anyone you'd like to join our fellowship and worship. It's an open invitation to come and celebrate the Lord and the vibrant community at CCBC.

While the church will be providing a delightful spread of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, soda, and water, feel free to bring along any additional food items. To enhance your experience, you can also bring extra chairs, games, or pop-up tents. Let's not forget the exciting amenities at the venue, which include water/beach access, a fishing pier, indoor and outdoor seating, a live DJ, a water slide, moon bounce, and games such as corn hole, spades, Phase 10, egg toss, water balloon throw, cup grab, and more!

As the evening approaches, we have planned a serene lantern lighting over the water, remembering and honoring those no longer with us. We hope this day will be marked in your calendars and your hearts.

A quick heads-up: the Homecoming T-shirts will be available at the church on Sunday, October 1st. They're a gift from us to you, free of charge. However, if you'd like to contribute a donation, it would be appreciated.

One last thing to remember: there won't be a 10:30 a.m. service at our usual location, 2190 Solomon’s Island Road, on October 8th. Instead, let's worship together at the combined Homecoming/Jesus, Jeans & Jersey event in Lusby.
