Call for Nominations

In celebration of African American & Black History Month, Calvert County Baptist Church invites you to submit nominations honoring members of our congregation whose lives reflect a powerful legacy of faith, service, culture, and community impact.
 

This recognition celebrates individuals who have made meaningful contributions through:

  • Community Impact
  • Congregational Service
  • Cultural Contribution

Do you know someone whose dedication uplifts others, strengthens our church, or preserves and advances African American history and culture? This is your opportunity to help us honor those whose lives continue to make history.
 

How to Submit a Nomination

Nominations should be 250 words or fewer and include:

  • What the nominee has done
  • Who has been impacted
  • How their contribution reflects faith, service, and cultural legacy
  • Why their work is meaningful or inspiring

Optional information may include length of service, leadership roles, or lasting impact.
